Help Us Raise £6,000 to Disrupt Human Trafficking in Northern Ghana
T
Why Tamale, Why Now?
Tamale faces a perfect storm of challenges: climate change, economic instability, ethnic tensions, and increasing regional conflict from the Sahel. These factors heighten the risk of human trafficking. Our intervention provides early, life-saving education and tools to those most at risk.
What Your Support Will Do
Your donation empowers action. With £6,000, we can:
- Equip 300 students across three Junior High Schools with knowledge to stay safe from traffickers.
- Engage parents through community programs that build a protective environment.
- Support out-of-school girls, a group particularly vulnerable to exploitation, with tailored resources and education.
- Lay the foundation for an expansion across Ghana and West Africa.
This pilot will generate essential data to demonstrate effectiveness and secure funding from institutional donors, amplifying its impact for years to come.
About the Hope Education Project
The Hope Education Project (HEP) disrupts human trafficking at its source. By educating children, parents, and communities, we empower them to recognize trafficking tactics, protect themselves, and report risks. With innovative methods like participatory theatre, we engage audiences meaningfully, creating lasting change.
How You Can Help
Every contribution matters. Here’s what your donation can do:
- £50: Covers educational materials for 50 students.
- £500: Funds a month of outreach to 300 girls in Tamale.
- £6,000: Fully funds the pilot project, protecting hundreds and paving the way for more extensive change.
Together, we can create a future where no child or family is vulnerable to trafficking.
